Hello! First off, thank you in advance for all comments and advice. I am currently a senior finance major at U of San Diego (Cum GPA: 3.9 Major GPA: 4.0). I eventually want to get on the CFO track and I think a CPA would be very valuable. I am not sure what my next steps should be after graduation. I have been applying to jobs (entry level finance, leadership development programs, Big 4 advisory), but now I am thinking that getting a MAcc and going into Big 4 audit for a couple years might be the better track to eventually transition to a client company. I really enjoy accounting, but was talked out of majoring in it by my friends/advisor. Any insight?
