I live in North Carolina and work as a Plant Controller. I just sent in my application to take the CPA exam here, but I was recently approached at work and offered a new position that would require me to relocate to Texas. My questions are:

If I'm accepted and approved to take the CPA exams by the North Carolina board, can I still sit for the exams as a North Carolina candidate even if I'm living in Texas at the time of the exams?

After passing the exams, would I have the opportunity to apply for licensure in Texas or any other state for that matter or would I only have the ability to apply for licensure in North Carolina since that's the state where I applied for the program?
